Zonta Club of Caboolture is a group of like-minded individuals gathering together to serve women and girls in our local and international communities. We were chartered in 1993 and will be celebrating our 32nd anniversary on 3 August 2025. Today the Zonta Club of Caboolture has 17 members including one male and one remote member living in Katherine in the NT. Our club welcomes new members who are passionate about making a difference and want to contribute to making a better life for women and girls in Caboolture, Australia and international communities.

Our Awards
Sandra Cooke STEM Award
Applications are open now.
Scholarship of $2,500 each for two successful applicants.
Banksia Award
One award of $50 to a girl finishing Year 11 per school.
Awards are presented at end of year School Awards Events.
Our Service
Zonta Club of Caboolture has been operating in Caboolture for over 30 years . We will proudly celebrate our 32nd anniversary in 2025 and the invaluable contribution of our members who have dedicated their time and efforts to building better lives for local and international women and girls.
The service committee is responsible for:
- awards and grants
- safety cards
- birthing kits
- breast cushions
- donations to other not-for-profit organisations

Our Advocacy

Our advocacy is action taken in “the public interest” or for “the greater good” with respect to empowering women and girls and promoting and protecting their human rights. At the local level we monitor laws and policies and their impact on women, participate in hearings and more.
Our main campaigns include:
- Zonta Says No to coercive control and domestic violence
- Zonta Says Now to gender equality
- End child and forced marriage
Our Events
Zonta Club of Caboolture runs events for a variety of reasons. Our events aim to increase awareness and advocate for women and girls in our community. They are opportunities to celebrate women in our community and raise funds to support local service projects.

Our Membership

There are many reasons for becoming a member of the Zonta Club of Caboolture including friendship, connection with like-minded people, and the Zonta Spirit. Members meet monthly, participate in sub-committees and take action to support and empower women and girls to live better lives.
Our dinner meetings are held on the last Wednesday of the month at the Caboolture Bridge Club in Short Street Caboolture.
