Raffles. Delicious morning tea, endless coffee and tea, and a beautiful fashion parade by Between Us Girls.
It was a great event, everyone enjoyed the beautiful fashions, food and endless coffee and tea. When some guests heard the rock and roll music they jumped up and started dancing. It was a fun morning with lots of joy from raffle and game wins. |
8 September to 10 September - Zonta District 22 Area Conference, Mackay
A team of members from Zonta Club of Caboolture went up to Mackay to attend the Zonta International District 22 Conference. Everyone had a wonderful time sharing the Zonta Spirit.
We are very excited that the motion we presented on behalf of the club relating to Child and Forced Marriage was carried. This success aligns with key programs of Zonta International. It is a great opportunity for us to work together across the district to source and distribute resources that can provide valuable information to victims of child and forced marriage. The entire club was involved in developing the motion. A wonderful effort by all members including the Advocacy team and the members who presented at conference. Great team effort and Zonta spirit. |
21 October - United Nations Day Function
Zonta Club of Caboolture members gathered at a member's house to celebrate United Nations Day. Club members prepared dishes from around the world to share at the lunch. Everyone pinned on the world map their country of origin. It was a beautiful day to recognise the role United Nations plays in maintaining international peace and security, protecting human rights, delivering humanitarian aid, promoting sustainable development and upholding international law.
